Cunzheng is experienced in acting for and advising banks, financial institutions and corporate borrowers on a wide range of banking and financing transactions. These include acquisition financing, property development financing, en-bloc financing, REIT financing, green and sustainability-linked loans, and general bilateral, club and syndicated lending transactions.

Cunzheng has substantial experience acting for both lenders and borrowers, and can provide clients with well-rounded and holistic advice. He has also handled transactions across a diverse range of industries, including real estate (residential property, industrial property, commercial property), manufacturing, investment management, shipping, F&B and technology.

Cunzheng’s practice also encompasses corporate real estate advice, transactional experience, diligence, the sale and purchase of corporate real estate vehicles, and the financing of related transactions.

Prior to joining Venture Law LLC, Cunzheng had practised in the Banking and Finance practice of 2 leading Singapore law firms for many years and had also spent some time as an in-house legal counsel at an Asian-headquartered conglomerate supporting the group’s banking and financing transactions.
